If you want to RP, let me hear your fabulous voices and sound off right now! Sanzo here isn't going to get sentimental anymore and be like "well, they used to RP with us back in the day..." and let the forum stagnate. So! Get your butts in here!

There are a few members that haven't even logged in months, and sorry to say, I'll be sending notes to those individuals and they'll be set to lurker, freeing their characters. There are also others who have logged in but not RPed. Those are the ones I want to speak up if they even want to RP with us anymore.

Be honest. You can still be a social, flirty mother fuck with us even if you don't have a character. So make the choice!

[don't worry, I know some people are afk, I'm checking the brb thread, so I won't be kicking them out if they aren't here for a few days]

And in a few days, the official "Ikkou Reboot" will go down! I've talked to a bunch of you face to face about this, and everyone seems pretty down with it. If I haven't gotten to you, this is what's happening.

We're going to wiiiiiiiiiipe clean our memories, MIB style. The logs will still remain here for the lulz, but in a few days, we're all going to go back to canon relationships. 3958 will just be traveling together. Kougaiji and Dokugakuji are just buddy buddy. The godly trio will not be in each others' pants every night. Crack pairings didn't happen. Sanzo has not slept with just about everyone here [XDDDD].

Yet. :3

We'll start over, and go from there. And don't just instantly go right back to what we had before the reboot. Build up relationships naturally. We're doing this because there have been so many cast changes that there's a lot of history amongst the characters that a lot of people don't even know about and it's confusing.

Alright. I am looking forward to this. I know I am one of the *coughcough* slower posters, but I have a hard time poking my nose into, well, a slower moving thread. Which is ridiculous, I know, cause the more I post, theoretically, the faster the thread moves.

I have heard stories about days yonder with 100+ lj posts, and think it would be wicked cool to have that going. Unfortunately, sometimes I think the forum setting tricks people (particularly me) into thinking posts require elaborate multi-comma'd and semi-colon'd paragraphs, which on the one hand, are wonderful, but on the other, sometimes don't flow into RP quite as nicely as short replies do.

I think more of the latter would be excellent.

^that said, less chat rps would be great (because I for one, don't go there, and if something happened in "an rp", I'm not gunna be aware of it if it was private, as some other members) I don't care whatcha do outside but really, if you're chatting with the ikkou members, and feel like rping, why not come here and start a thread instead? I dunno, but its been bothering me that supposed injokes from the "ikkou" weren't even conceived here..

I think the forum is the place for rp. When we used to chat it was all OOC comments.., and then many many short posts on livejournal IC
I think we should be reminded of the rules becuz lately everyone posts way tl;dr paragraphs. its tiring to read x.x

Okay anyway, hyperness aside, I'd like to stay as Lirin for...semi obvious reasons, although I'm planning on going back and rereading/watching Saiyuki so I can turn her more...I dunno, character like. I don't think I'm staying as true to her character as I should be.

Also, I agree with Yaone-chan! I look and see everyone with super long paragraphs and it makes me feel the need to create a super long RP paragraph but that's the problem, I have nothing to act out, to RP, so then I don't post, which makes me a fail Lirin. And so to clarify, that means like two-sentence paragraphs of dialogue and action are okay to move things along, right?

Of course we slept! We had Sanzo decide at some point every night to pause the RP, and then we just couldn't do anything BUT RP when we were awake. And if you think about it, we had fewer members back then, which means each (active) member had to have posted something like 500 times a day. I say active 'cause I only posted member ten times a day... >>;

I'm hearing and I'm hanging on tenaciously to Kami (depending on who becomes available). Many have heard my views on rebooting the forum and how many should be kicked.
and Saru, as far as the "chat rps" There haven't be any in months. Many of the ones started there started ideas, and a few happened there. But nothing has happened for awhile besides Doku eating everyone's fictional babies. Often the chat remains empty except for a very few certain hours.
I was talking to Hazel, and I think Hazel should be allowed to control Gat until we have one. It would be easier for Hazel to RP then.
